Position Summary:
The Commercial Lines Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and mentoring of underwriting staff.

Job Requirements:

•     Able to work well with a team and delegate when needed.
•     8+ years' experience in underwriting. Leadership experience is an asset.
•     CIP designation required.
•     Well organized.
•     Keen communication skills; strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
•     Strong attention to detail, and a desire to work with people.
•     Familiarity using MS Office tools including Word and Excel.

Job Duties:

•     Providing direction and coaching to the commercial underwriting staff.
•     Supporting underwriters with complex policies.
•     Provide guidance and authority on policy approvals.
•     Offering appropriate feedback to underwriting staff
