Job Description:
Reporting to the Claims Supervisor, you will be responsible for auditing reports through the Xactimate program. You will ensure that all files are handled promptly and efficiently through utilizing strong communication and analytical skills. You will maintain strong levels of customer service at all times through daily interaction, both internally and externally.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 years experience property field adjusting, with knowledge and experience in the creation/analysis of property repair estimates
  • University or college education is preferred
  • Strong property repair estimating knowledge and understanding of property insurance contacts
  • Proficient in the use of property estimating software, preferably Xactware products
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify relationships, problems and issues
  • Ongoing commitment to continuous learning 

Job Duties:
  • Conduct technical analysis of submitted repair estimates ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Communicate with contractors, estimators and adjusters as required to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.  
  • Refer estimates to appropriate parties for re-inspection as required.
  • Meet company service standards by maintaining an active production schedule and diary system. 
  • Develop positive business relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Maintain vigilance in the detection and prevention of fraud.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of adjuster training
  • Remain current on developments in property repair procedures and materials
  • Perform other duties as required
