Job Description:
Design Group is seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer for an intermediate oil and gas producer.
Our client is focused on oil and gas development across western Canada and possesses significant land holdings in a variety of asset areas. Valuing technical expertise, transparent communication, collaboration and accountability our client has a consistent record of financial performance and is recognized as leader within the industry.

Job Requirements:
·         Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
·         A creative and collaborative approach to problem solving.
·         10+ years of WCSB reservoir engineering experience.
·         An Engineering degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.
·         Professional Engineering designation.
·         An in-depth knowledge of waterflood implementation and optimization.
·         Reservoir Simulation experience.
·         In-depth knowledge of reserve process and analyses
·         Strong geological interpretation skills (log analyses)

Job Duties:
·         Effectively collaborate with asset teams on development and exploration projects.
·         Increase recovery factors in the assigned district and mentorship of exploitation engineers on asset development and reservoir engineering projects.
·         Identify new development opportunities; optimize well spacing, design and completion techniques.
·         Implement and monitor a waterflood performance program across the district.
·         Support drilling and completions staff on reservoir related matters.
·         Design and execute reservoir engineering studies.
·         Optimize and explore implementation of waterflood projects.
·         Maintain an up to date knowledge of the latest reservoir engineering techniques, tools and technologies.
