Position Summary:
As a Bodily Injury Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating and settling Bodily Injury claims via direct contact or telephone investigation and resolution. This position includes a company vehicle as out of office travel is necessary.

Job Requirements:

  •     A minimum of 3 years claims handling experience in bodily injury and/or Section B CIP designation or working towards same, or other related transferable training
  •     Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  •     Proven negotiation and organizational skills
  •     An ability to thrive in a team setting but also able to work independently
  •     Your proven negotiation and effective organizational skills make you a strong candidate for this role.

Job Duties:
  •     Determining legal liability and extent of damage to persons and property
  •     Working/meeting with various third parties including but not limited to: claimants, insured, health care providers, legal representatives and other insurance companies
  •     Collecting and reviewing medical documentation and treatment plans and accurately reserving and quantifying the claim
  •     Attending settlement meetings, mediations, pre-trial conferences Providing exceptional customer service and timely and effective communication of decisions to all parties involved
