Members of our Accounting and Finance team have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad spectrum of business and financial services. The Property Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the property accounting cycle for Northern Alberta properties.

Job Requirements:
• Typically 2+ years of production and revenue accounting experience with a degree or diploma in Accounting or Business
• CAPPA (Canadian Association of Petroleum and Property Accounting) Certification
• Proficiency in Spreadsheet applications, PRISM/PARS, EnterpriseOne and QBLM; and working knowledge of Essbase
• Working in a highly analytical role, effective communication skills, teamwork and a desire to learn are essential for success for this position.

Job Description:
• Gather and analyze production data, confirming pipeline deliveries
• Upload or enter well tests, inventories and sales by purchaser into PRISM
• Prepare oil, NGL, gas sales splits and APMC, communicating with partners
• Submit volumetric, SAFOAF, APMC and other related reports to the Petrinex
• Book and analyze revenues, royalties, processing charges, trucking charges and accounts receivables
• Maintain all exception reporting
• Respond to internal and external queries in a timely manner
• Work with the field to meet government compliance requirements on EPAP & CAI
• Resolve Crown discrepancy as they relate to the property
