Job Description:
Design Group is seeking a Senior Production Engineer for a leading intermediate oil and gas producer. Our client is seeking an Engineer with 15+ years' experience to coordinate operations with a variety of disciplines in a core development area.

Job Requirements:
·         15 years' oil and gas experience with a focus in production engineering.
·         Ideally 1 year or more of focused field experience.
·         In-depth knowledge of down-hole optimization as well as surface operations.
·         Experience working multi-well pads, HZ drilled wells and multi stage frac wells.
·         Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
·         Strong knowledge of the business drivers of the oil and gas industry.
·         Proven experience managing multiple projects and executing a significant capital budget.
·         In-depth knowledge of BC, AB and SASK regulatory guidelines.

Job Duties:
·         Execute the capital budget in an efficient and safe manner.
·         Manage well and asset reviews.
·         Provide guidance and support to field operations.
·         Develop operating budgets.
·         Provide input on design of facility and pipeline projects.
·         Develop and maintain execution schedules to be used by various operational groups.
·         Develop AFEs and present at AFE approval meetings.
·         Increase performance on underperforming wells including down hole, artificial lift and pipeline optimization.
·         Work with exploitation to develop long term asset development strategies.
·         Participate in commissioning of well and facilities.
·         Contribute to exploration activities by working with land and field operations.
