Job Description:
CIMA+ is currently seeking for an Electrical drafter  who will be working on renewable energy projects throughout Ontario.

Job Requirements:

•     Diploma or certificate in Drafting or Engineering Technology
•     Knowledge of drawings software AUTOCAD
•     Experience with Microsoft Office
•     Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
•     Good communication skills
•     Valid Driver's license
•     Basic understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts would be an asset
•     Experience preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing and preparing design sketches would be an asset
•     Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, ANSI, IEC, NEMA and other related design standard would be an asset
•     Proficient at reading and interpreting technical specification, design drawings and details would be an asset

Responsibilities:

•     Drafting electrical and automation drawings in AutoCAD (single line diagrams, schemes and wiring diagrams, cable routings, grounding, lighting and tracing) and substations arrangements
•     Interfacing with designers and engineers
•     Checking drawings as per company and client standards
•     Ensuring compliance with company procedures
•     Implementing electrical load list, cable schedule, bill of materials (BOM), . for electrical system installation
•     Interacting with a group of engineers, technologist and drafters
