Job Description:
The Property Accountant will play an important role in the communication of key information pertaining to our accounting operations to management and operations teams. This position will provide a mixture of technical and business analysis and will work within the Grande Prairie North group.

Job Requirements:
• Typically 5+ years of related industry experience in property, production and/or revenue accounting
• A degree or diploma in a related discipline such as Accounting or Business
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Property Accounting (CAPPA)
• Familiarity with and understanding of:
   o Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel
   o Spreadsheet application, PRISM/PARS, EnterpriseOne, QBLM, and working knowledge of Essbase

Job Duties:
• Review schematics for accuracy and completeness
• Assist with metering differences and liaise with field to resolve
• Contribute to reports requiring comments including gas shrinkage, overhead exceptions, ERCB exception reports and account receivables
• Ensure timely resolution of all joint venture audits and queries
• Assist with Globals, DOI and PRISM facility charge updates
• Carry out property analysis, compare reports and management reporting
• Provide technical support to the Property Accounting team
