Job Description:
As the Project Accountant you will oversee and coordinate Accounts Receivable (AR) for the Horizon Oil Sands Project
• Lead the AR transactional data project
• Provide leadership and ownership of the project by coordinating several AR team members
• Promote data integrity and provide accurate collections reporting
• Facilitate continuous improvement of AR by developing a more effective process and developing tools to assist ongoing activities

Note: This is a 6 month contract position

Job Requirements:
• Typically 10+ years of Accounts Receivable experience with an Accounting designation such as CMA, CGA, CA, or CPA
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with and understanding of:
   o JD Edwards E1 Application
   o Microsoft Office Suite
   o Project management

Job Duties:
• Analysis of verification of outstanding accounts and collections of receivables
• Work with E1 Team to establish improved AR sub-ledger
• Build and maintain productive relationships with your team, the vendors, and other key stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in a constructive and cooperative manner
