Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Support Manager to join our rapidly expanding team in Canada and working with one of our most prominent and valued clients at Transline Group (Canada) Inc.

The role of Production Support Manager requires both determination and diplomacy in that both our client and the interests of our own business must be addressed carefully

Job Duties:

  •     Assist co-ordinating a growing team of Electronic Technicians on the clients site ensuring that the required drive and focus is being taken in relation to productivity and quality levels for all Transline employees.
  •     Identify productivity and efficiency improvements in all areas and embrace Lean as a backbone to your actions in order to achieve these improvements
  •     Take a proactive approach to identifying potential cost savings and improvements for the client.
  •     Coordinate the capture, analyse and subsequently action concerning data and trends  overseeing notifications, warnings and disciplinary matters ensuring that these are conducted by the team in a timely and professional manner.
  •     Monitor and report on poor performers in terms of both productivity and quality -investigate reasons, establish RCA (Root Cause Analysis) - record, collate and report in the form of weekly reports.
  •     Ensure that production data is collated, analysed and reported on both daily and weekly to all stakeholders.
  •     Ensure that all staff members are clear about their roles & responsibilities and fully understand their key performance indicators.
  •     Monitor and motivate staff to improve Productivity and Quality performance on a daily basis.
  •     Monitor Transline staff on their respective lines/stations taking appropriate action to ensure individual productivity and quality targets are met and where possible improved upon.
  •     Results driven - must be able to drive performance and appropriately manage the delivery of business KPI’s/SLA’s in accordance with the client’s varying demands.
  •     Oversee and take sometimes hard HR/Disciplinary decisions in order to protect best interests as and when necessary.
  •     Collate and submit regular weekly/monthly KPI driven reports.
  •     Strong Microsoft EXCEL skills and comfortable manipulating data for analysis
