Job Description:
Economical Insurance is currently looking for an Administration Team Lead to join our Atlantic region administrative team. This position is based out of our Halifax Branch location.
Reporting to the VP, Atlantic region, you are accountable for the leadership of assigned team members as well as supporting the regional operations.

Job Minimum Requirements:

  •     Demonstrated organizational, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills are essential.
  •     Completed university degree or college diploma or CIP designation

Job Duties:
  •     Providing direct leadership to assigned staff relative to performance, productivity, personal conduct and adherence to processes and Corporate policies and procedures
  •     Completing audits by reviewing productivity and quality assurance of work on a regular basis and providing effective feedback.
  •     Fostering staff development by conducting performance evaluations, providing ongoing and effective feedback, and coaching for development
  •     Initiating interviews for vacancies within the unit and making recommendations for new hires
  •     Providing basic quantitative analysis of broker results, including trend reporting
  •     Maintaining and/or monitoring of branch/region tools using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MIS, Self-Serve Reporting, Infopac, PowerCube, Exceed, Encompass and Broker Segmentation applications including regional management of AGNT and CPC validation
  •     Coordinating quarterly broker reviews for branch providing individual broker data through detailed document package
  •     Supporting operations by assisting with the annual budget process, including reporting and monitoring
  •     Providing support to the regional leaders in the creation and monitoring of the Financial Model
  •     Other duties as assigned
