Job Description:
Economical currently has an opportunity for a Claims Representative, Auto Physical Damage within our Western Region Claims team based out of either our Calgary OR Vancouver branch.
If you have a strong customer interaction focus coupled with well-developed communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills, we'd like to hear from you!
Reporting to the Team Leader, Physical Damage unit, you are accountable for the investigation and settlement of auto claims.

Job Minimum Requirements:

•     Completed high school diploma.
•     2+ years related work experience is required.
•     Strong computer and typing skills with the ability to navigate through numerous screens quickly and efficiently. 
•     General knowledge of the automobile policy would be a definite asset.
•     Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a call center environment.

Job Duties:

•     Accepting notice of claim and working with the customer and preferred Vendors to ensure the best course of action is taken to resolve the claim quickly and efficiently.
•     Managing minor to moderate auto physical damage claims.
•     Confirming policy coverage by ensuring the facts of the claim fall within the scope of the policy.
•     Maintaining detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems.
•     Processing claims payments within level of authority after verifying claimant's entitlement.
•     Initiating salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned files.
