Job Description:
As Technical Lead, Development your role will be to provide technical expertise and direction to project, release and support self-organizing teams to effectively realize development quality, delivery and operational commitments. Your overall accountability is for the overall quality of the technical solutions being delivered to the business or IT.  You will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate service transition and support activities related to deployment and development support are in place and ensuring that the team follows Economical's SDLC, working with the team to identify opportunities to improve processes, standards and tools in their function.

Job Minimum Requirements:

•     University Degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
•     5+ years of software / application analysis, design, development and delivery experience
•     2+ years of formal or informal leading of development teams
•     Relevant industry-related certifications are considered an asset.

        Kanban Certified Professional
        Certified Scrum Master
        ITIL
        Agile Delivery
        

•     Proven skill and effectiveness in modeling using structured notation (UML), CRC Modeling, Iterative modeling, Model envisioning (requirements and architecture).
•     Experience in some or all of the following - C, C++, Java, COBOL, .NET Framework, Java EE (EJB, Messaging Systems, Web Services) and front-end development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Web Frameworks)
•     Experience of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL) and data modeling
•     Understanding of Environment and infrastructure requirements and planning (performance scalability, reliability and security)
•     Demonstrated knowledge of application design and development trends, practices and architecture, and deep understanding of Designer and Developer roles and skills

•     Ability to effectively coach and mentor others
