Job Description:
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be accountable for providing superior service in a clerical and underwriting support role to the Personal Insurance Department.

Job Minimum Requirements:

  •     Completed high school diploma and relevant work experience;
  •     Preference will be given to candidates with a post secondary degree or diploma or willingness to complete a CIP designation;
  •     Strong computer skills;
  •     Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in a personal lines underwriting support role.

Job Duties:
  •     Gathering background information on new personal business;
  •     Receiving the print and matching to specific files and documents provided by underwriting staff;
  •     Entering and organizing new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations into the personal insurance systems;
  •     Data entry, coding off-system policies, endorsements, forms, letters;
  •     Maintaining electronic logs and account specific spreadsheets;
  •     Receiving print and matching to specific files and documents provided by underwriting staff;
  •     Ordering and reviewing reports;
  •     Performing various mail and filing duties;
  •     Providing backup reception duties;
  •     General office and other duties as required.
