Job Summary:
Our client, a true success story that keeps on experiencing unparalleled growth in the Financial Institution industry is looking to hire a Manager Mortgage Accounting.  Our client is consistently ranked as one of the top employers in Canada.  If you have deep hands on experience with accounting and regulatory reporting requirements for mortgages [CMHC, etc] for mortgages, mortgage backed securities, etc.

In this role you will be responsible for the ongoing accounting and regulatory reporting dealing with Mortgages.   You will supervise/mentor two Senior Accountants.  You will be responsible to lead the efforts on period close, making sure accounts/products/mortgages are reconciled out, regulatory reporting is completed, audit working papers prepared and any adjusting/etc journal entries are booked.

Minimum Requirement:

• Designated Accountant or in Professional Designation Program [CGA, CMA, CA, CPA, MBA, etc]
• Sound mortgage accounting and regulatory reporting experience
