Job Summary:
This position will work closely with the business unit team and will be responsible for the commodity marketing operations.

Minimum Requirement:
• Professional Canadian accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience within the oil and gas industry
• Minimum of 6 years of supervisory experience
• Experience with IFRS
• Commodity Marketing and Midstream experience would be an asset
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership and communication skills along with experience presenting to senior executives

Job Duties:
• Lead budget and forecast preparation for the business unit
• Contribute to the development of long range business plans
• Evaluate investment proposals to ensure compliance with accounting guidelines and finance protocols
• Lead a team of Financial Analysts supporting the Business Unit
• Ensure that the corporate accounting policy and IFRS is adhered to the business unit financials
• Support strategic assessment of market environment
• With assistance from financial analysts, prepare the Business Unit Specific Information
