The Opportunity: Talent Acquisition Specialist, Consulting & Deals
Our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Toronto office with a focus on recruitment for our Consulting & Deals group. We look for individuals who are ready for a challenge and want to collaborate with diverse teams, take responsibility for their personal growth, and help our firm operate with quality and integrity.

Job Requirements:
·    Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or equivalent experience
·    CHRP preferred
Experience Level:
•    3 - 5 yers of experience, with specific success in experienced hire activity, preferably in a professional services firm in a role that demonstrates steady progression and advancement with increased responsibilities.
•    Proven track record in creatively sourcing and hiring talent.
•    A working understanding of sourcing programs to drive the execution of strategic sourcing priorities.
•    Understanding of the sourcing market and the local market influence on the sourcing of candidates.
•    Effective administrative skills and the ability to operationally deploy all aspects of programs efficiently and effectively.
•    Excellent communication skills (written / verbal)
•    Ability to work and navigate effectively in a matrix organization/partnership structure.
•    Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess situations strategically and develop a collaborative approach.
•    Excellent judgment; has a broad view and good common sense
•    Bilingualism - French and English would be an asset

Job Duties:
•    sourcing of experienced candidates for positions within the GTA and Ottawa region for Consulting & Deals. The incumbent is also involved in workforce planning, sourcing planning, organizing sourcing events, applicant tracking, conducting interviews, and pre-placement testing and background verification.
•    Strategic & Technical Orientation: Understanding and vision of the strategic objectives and regional sourcing needs. Possesses and demonstrates experienced sourcing and executive search subject matter expertise.
•    Range of Impact: Virtual presence in every market in support of our firm-wide experienced sourcing activities. Resolves complex problems by continuously applying significant independent judgment and by collaborating with others. Deep understanding and vision of regional customer needs and experienced sourcing opportunities.
•    Scope of Responsibility: Recruiting of experienced candidates from regional and national markets. Responsible for the regional short-term recruiting initiatives and working with the national sourcing team to develop strategic long-term sourcing relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
•    Provide overall recruitment coverage and guidance to Internal Firm Services client groups, working effectively with Partners, Directors and/or Managers to coordinate recruitment activities for Consulting and Deals Group
•    Provide cost effective recruitment strategies, including proactively pipelining suitable candidates with the goal of reducing involvement of outside executive search organizations.
•    Collaborate with Partners/Directors and/or Managers to confirm appropriate approvals are in place, create requisitions and validate job descriptions to ensure the role is marketed to attract top talent.
•    Identify and screen candidates to interview, conduct interviews, make recommendations to client groups by providing a detailed summary.
•    Work with HR to negotiate and finalize offer details.
•    Ensure national standardized processes, policies and templates are utilized.
•    Maintain strong working relationship with client groups, HR and specific industry sector leaders.
•    Work effectively with the Recruitment Shared Service Centre to ensure a consistent and successful onboarding process for new hires.
