Manager - Capital Projects Consulting Services:
Recent growth of the PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting practice has created an immediate need for a high performing individual to join our team in the role of Manager, Capital Projects Consulting Services, and embrace a challenging career in a progressive environment.
The Manager, Capital Projects Services will be responsible for helping grow revenue from Capital Projects consulting opportunities and to deepen the construction/engineering expertise within PwC Canada. This will be accomplished by developing and executing a strategy to generate new business and by developing Capital Projects related engagement delivery capabilities within PwC Canada. A market priority will be to develop long-term relationships with executives at target organizations. Initial focus will be on the Energy, Mining and Utilities sectors. He/she will leverage expertise, resources, and best practices from around the world while attracting and developing a high quality team in Canada. He/she must ensure that the quality of the talent within the practice is suitable to meet and exceed the identified business objectives. This individual will be a leader within PwC Canada with opportunity to progress to partnership if fully successful.

Job Requirements:
•    Minimum of 8 years of business experience in Energy, Utilities or Mining sector and/or professional services.
•    Previous consulting experience at a senior level with strong capabilities in business development, client management and team development.
•    Well established profile, international network of relationships, and strong reputation within the large capital projects community.
•    Deep understanding of capital project governance and risk management.
•    International and site experience an asset.
Competencies requirements:
•    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in consulting engagement management, business development, and practice management. Evidence should include the following:
•    Engagement Management
•    Planned and managed large or complex consulting engagements;
•    managed the engagement team to the production of quality deliverables on time and on budget;
•    ensured buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client organization;
•    ensured the quality of deliverables meets with client expectations; and
•    managed engagement risk and project economics
Business Development
•    developed and maintained relationships with decision makers at key clients;
•    led pursuit teams and proposal development efforts including innovative approaches and methodologies
•    led successful client oral presentations
People Development
•    Successfully developed and built consulting teams, from recruitment to on the job development and retention
•    valued by his colleagues and direct reports as a team player and as a coach.
