PricewaterhouseCoopers is one of the four largest accounting firms in Canada. Our Private Company Services Group has an immediate opening for an Experienced Accountant in Toronto. The Experienced Accountant will be part of a team providing a full range of accounting and tax services for owner managed private companies.
This is a full time contract opportunity in our Corner Brook office beginning immediately until June 30, 2014.

 Job Requirements:
•    You will possess a minimum of 4 to 5 years of related work experience, preferably within an accounting department or public accounting firm.
•    A designation from a recognized accounting program (CA, CGA, CMA), and/or a degree or diploma in accounting would all be assets, but not required.
•    You are extremely organized and detail oriented, you have a proven ability to manage concurrent assignments, and you have good problem-solving skills.
•    Working knowledge of Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, ACCPAC, Caseware, Excel, and TaxPrep would also be assets.
•    Excellent communication/interpersonal skills are essential for this role.


Job Duties:
•    The Person will be Reporting to the Partners and Managers.
•    The successful candidate will provide accounting and income tax services to corporate and personal clients, including, preparation of working paper files, compilation and review engagements of financial statement and corporate, personal and trust income tax returns.
•    This position would be of most interest to candidates who enjoy working to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
