This position is a a key team member of the Institutional Planning and Analysis Department at SAIT Polytechnic. The Manager of Corporate Records and Information Services is responsible for leading a team to develop, implement, and manage the corporate records information management program for the Institution. The position involves strategy development and policy formulation.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Certified Records Management Certification an asset
• 5 years Records Information Management preferably in a public sector environment
• Experience leading a team
• Experience in the development and implementation of a corporate records and information management program including strategies, policies and procedures and internal training programs
• Sound knowledge of government policies and legislative requirements that govern records information management
• Superior communication and influence skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve Records Information Management objectives for the Institution
• Experience working with budgets, including forecasting, and costing
• Ability to lift boxes
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Job Duties:
• Manage the development, formulation and implementation of corporate records and information management plan including strategies, policies and procedures
• Provide strategic and expert advice on records information management options and solutions. Including meeting adequate records management, standards, electronic documents and records management systems to all SAIT employees
• Manage the delivery of high quality internal services that support the Institution’s business operations, and corporate and service delivery functions.
• Develop, implement and review operating policies, plans and procedures to ensure their compliance with government policy and procedures and any relevant legislation.
• Develop records and information management systems including oversight of related procurement, contracts and service providers.
• Identify and implement cost effective records and information management improvement initiatives, including training programs and monitoring records management costs.
• Design and implement institution wide training initiatives.
• Lead, develop and manage a team of records management professionals
