Job Purpose:
Performs a variety of communications tasks and responsibilities, including creating and implementing electronic communications plans and campaigns, and managing the Sustainable Prosperity (SP) and the Institute of the Environment (IE) websites. Also work closely with the Sustainable Prosperity communications manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience relating to website development and content management normally acquired through postsecondary education or equivalent experience. 
  • Knowledge and considerable track record in designing and using social media tools and developing and implementing social media strategies
  • General understanding of SP and IE research issues and topics 
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in designing and managing websites and web content
  • Extensive experience using computer systems and software such as Windows, word processors, spreadsheets, electronic agendas, online databases, email and the Internet

  • Bilingualism — English/French (spoken and written)


Note: Contract of approximately one-year. Eligibility to benefits will be determined upon hiring.
