Job Purpose:
Responds to emergencies related to grounds maintenance. Installs barricades, repairs potholes on the paths and eliminates waste on grounds, parking’s and campus in general. Assists the supervisor in managing contracts of grounds maintenance and snow removal from site and replaces him during his absences.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of horticulture and landscaping normally acquired through post-secondary education or an equivalent experience 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ground maintenance 
  • Knowledge and experience in contract management and in dealing with entrepreneurs 
  • Knowledge of security regulations (SIMDUT) 
  • Knowledge and experience in using environment friendly products 
  • Experience in using computer systems such as Word, Excel, email and Internet
  • Valid driver’s license

This position is based on an average of 1878.43 hours per year based on a 23.73$ hourly rate .
