Job Description
Reporting to the Ontario Personal Insurance Team Leader and as an Ontario region employee, you will be responsible for accepting, rejecting and amending all levels of property and auto renewals and endorsements. You will work with colleagues to maintain a profitable personal insurance portfolio. Although this position is in Toronto, the successful candidate will be part of an Ontario regional team servicing all Ontario branches and the other regions as required.

Qualifications:
• Completed high school diploma and relevant work experience;
• Preference will be given to candidates with a post secondary degree or diploma or willingness to complete a CIP designation;
• Strong computer skills;
• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in a personal lines underwriting support role.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a personal insurance environment.

Job Duties:
• Consistently meeting quality and production expectations on a daily basis.
• Issuing policy changes within binding authority.
• Reviewing policy renewals and taking appropriate action within binding authority.
• Reviewing claims activity and taking appropriate action within binding authority.
• Maintaining desk to company service standards.
• Maintaining positive broker relations in day to day transactions.
