Job Requirements:
• Excellent customer support skills and/or customer training.
• 2+ years’ experience supporting computer software applications
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL/DBMS (Manage DB’s - create, backup, restore. Understanding of tables, fields, views, stored procedures, security and other database elements)
• An understanding of accounting principles.
• Development/debugging skills
• The ability to work individually or in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Highly motivated
• A high aptitude for learning and change
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Working knowledge of Virtual Private Networking

Preference may be given to candidates who have:
• Familiarity and experience with accounting applications
• Domain knowledge in ERP Solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
• Familiarity with Citrix environments
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Analyst/Programmer program or equivalent degree or experience
• Experience with Dexterity, C#, C++,VB, SQL, .NET

Job Duties:
• Provide timely first and second level support to end users for Encore’s software products.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues to provide customers with a solution
• Have the ability to understand and support .Net and Dexterity based applications
• Possess superior problem solving abilities
• Have an understanding of implementing and supporting financial software
• Maintain good working relationships with Value Added Resellers
• Provide feedback to the team on support cases that have been influenced by product release changes
• Maintain proficiency with the Encore line of products
• Demonstrate a professional and friendly manner
