Our client in the banking industry is looking for a Web Content Writer for an 8 month contract. The incumbent will lead the website content creation efforts for a project focused on rewriting web content based on a new business direction.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will need to possess strong analytical and technical skills and a clear ability to identify key business trends and issues. The candidate will also have strong communication skills to build relationships at various levels of the organization and the confidence to participate in senior-level discussions. In addition, the candidate will be a self-starter that is able to work independently to complete specified tasks under tight deadlines within a fast-paced working environment.

Job Requirements:
- 5+ years experience writing for an Internet audience and strategic content management
- Bachelors' Degree in English, journalism, technical writing or other writing/communication field
- Experience with Content Management systems, HTML and other Web technologies
- Requires writing samples

Job Duties:
- lead the development of the organizations website content, ensuring consistency with business strategies, best practices and brand guidelines
- lead the planning, definition, and implementation of the editorial strategy for the organizations web properties
- Author and edit online content  in conjunction with Digital managers, Social Media managers, content contributors and content team managers
- Assist in the monitoring, publishing, analysis and enhancement of site content, organization and presentation
