Job Description:
This six month contract opportunity is with the Account Management team working with the Director, Account Management in supporting a portfolio of accounts in public sector for the Ontario region and in the strategy support development for the group. The goal is to support the business through the development, management and execution of strategic account management activities on select priority accounts and industries while building the strategy for the group. The preferred location for this position is Toronto however depending on the candidate, we would be open to it being based out of our other Ontario offices.

Job Requirements:

  •     Minimum five years of account/sales support experience
  •     Proven track record in sales support of complex services to complex organizations
  •     Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  •     Ability to develop relationships with both client and industry stakeholders and influencers
  •     A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or other related discipline is preferred
  •     Self-starter, proactive and professional in demeanor
  •     Demonstrated project management skills
  •     Excellent interpersonal and client service skills with partners and senior level executives

Job Duties:
Account management:

  •     Work day-to-day with the Director, Account Management and LCSP(s), of named account(s), as part of the team to achieve full compliance with all the performance measures set out in the account
  •     Provide support and execute internal and external industry related events, provide monthly industry relevant updates, and assist in the sales process by pushing forward key opportunities
  •     Maintain ongoing account, opportunity and relationship status reports using the firm’s CRM tool
  •     Support the development of account and opportunity pursuit strategies, provide project management assistance with RFP’s and maintain qualification resources
  •     Perform or facilitate client and marketplace research to support the creation of sales strategies for key opportunities.
  •     Leverage the firms marketing programs
  •     Identify and communicate industry trends, client needs and link to our capabilities and marketing programs and POVs
  •     Work with Director, Account Management and LCSP to create the strategic account plan and revenue plan
  •     Support the development and execution of client strategies for our key target accounts
  •     Create targeted relationships building opportunities to support to the client service team in building relationships with key senior executives
  •     Facilitate the client feedback program for key relationships at the accounts.

Strategy:
  •     Work day-to-day with the Director, Account Management in defining vision, setting long-term strategy tactics
  •     Supports the development of strategic and operating plan, performance measurements and reporting
  •     Supports and contributes to the development and implementation of the business planning cycle including financial analysis, budgeting and resource planning
  •     Coordinates needs assessments, technical implementations and the effective uses of strategy and planning tools, repositories and processes required to deliver quality, value-added solutions and services
  •     Manages small project teams as a formal or informal team leader
  •     Provides updates on action items via discussions and status reports in written, verbal and graphical form
  •     Works with others to generate new ideas to resolve issues
