Job Description:
The Solutions Delivery group with Deloitte's ITS (Information Technology Services department) requires an experienced and strong Siebel Analyst that has the ability to scope Siebel projects, develop business cases, document business requirements, develop functional designs, complete gap analysis and complete system testing.

The role requires:

  • Good understanding of software development life cycle management, and project management expertise
  •     Strong communication skills, including facilitation skills
  •     Ability to provide support in configuration requirements, integration decisions and technology process improvements
  •     Experience in developing test strategies and test execution and use of QA tools
  •     Expertise in creating clear detailed Business Requirements Documentation, Use Cases and Functional Specification documents to be used by the technical team to develop in the Siebel CRM application

Job Requirements:
  •     University degree or equivalent work experience
  •     A strong commitment to professional client service excellence
  •     Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  •     Good verbal and written communications skills
  •     At least 3 years of experience in Siebel
  •     Participated in a functional capacity through the full project life cycle of a minimum of 1-2 Siebel implementations
  •     Project Management or Business Analysis certification, preferred
  •     Demonstrated knowledge of system development life cycle (waterfall and agile) and testing tools
  •     Ability to interact with the business and staff in analysis and design skills

Job Duties:
  •     Acting as contact with business on maintenance or small enhancements, as appropriate
  •     Create and refine preliminary design / mockup of new functionality and develop flow charts, functional diagrams and descriptions to communicate application design specifications, as required
  •     Establish and clearly document requirements and develop use cases
  •     Provide configuration requirements when adding new functionality to existing software applications, when applicable
  •     Provide input into project / resource estimating activities
  •     Participate in and support cross technology process improvement initiatives
  •     Work with Delivery Support to promote initiatives across Solutions Delivery

Along with the responsibilities listed above, as an Analyst, you will:
  •     Serve as a functional project lead as appropriate
  •     Define and develop test strategies and lead the testing efforts
  •     Facilitate JAD sessions to speed up scope definition, problem definition and process planning
  •     Facilitate workshops to ensure the efficient use of Solutions Delivery methodologies, processes and tools across the SDLC as appropriate
  •     Participate in the prototyping life cycle, including direct input on solution modeling
