Job Description
Our client is one of Canada's largest Financial Institutions, with operations globally and publicly listed on multiple exchanges [TSX/NYSE]. They have an immediate need for a Project Accountant to join their team for a 6-month contract with potential to go longer.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of project accounting experience.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage dotted line relationships!
Job Duties:
In this role your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Tracking project and ongoing expenses, including preparation of month-end accruals and capitalization where appropriate.
- Engaging and assisting project managers with forecasting project costs.
- Acting as trusted advisor and support to business partners.
