Education and Experience
Working towards a Business Certificate or Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent
(Preferably 2nd and 3rd Year Students)

Skills and Knowledge
• Passion for the entrepreneurial spirit
• Expertise in Microsoft Office
• Professionalism  with a strong client focus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and to multi-task
Note:  Experience in an entrepreneurial environment is an asset

Job Description:
The internship will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to help Canadian Entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.  Working in the Kitchener Business Centre the position will support the branch team in providing timely, value add financial and consulting services to BDC clients.  The primary goal of all BDC employees is to put "Entrepreneurs First".   The position is also responsible for actively participating in branch and area marketing initiatives.

Job Duties:
• Financial analysis
• Support and implementation of marketing initiatives
• General administrative support (filing, archiving; reception)
• Data input & Customer service
