About Us
Quantum requires a Finance Clerk who is interested in a temporary/contract opportunity within the public sector. In order to qualify, candidates must hold a government security clearance and have excellent communication skills in both official languages.
Job Requirements:
• Experience requesting and receiving quotes
• Previously employed in a financial environment for at least two years
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes, Excel, SAP and WordPerfect/MS Word; ability to type charts, documents
• Ability to use common office equipment such as computers, fax machines, photocopiers, calculators, etc.
• Ability to work without close supervision and have an excellent attendance record
• Ability to work in an extremely busy schedule with tight deadlines
Job Duties:
• Providing financial support services
• Tracking documents and maintaining filing system
• Researching and analyzing financial data
• Maintaining and updating a financial management system
• Conducting inquiries or research to resolve financial issues
• Analyzing budgets and prepare reports
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
• Preparing a variety of financial tables and reports
