Job Description:
Our client is one of Canada's largest Financial Institutions, with operations globally and publicly listed on multiple exchanges [TSX/NYSE].   Due to a mandate to become more proactive with governance methodology, they have an immediate need for a Governance Consultant to join their team for an initial 3-month contract.  If you are an experienced Business Analyst with a demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions, assign and document accountabilities and manage risks, then you have the transferable skills required for this role.

If you are a designated accountant, have experience leading/managing mission critical projects we need to speak.  If you have delivered on entity wide projects that are truly related to ‘doing things better’ / process improvements from a finance and accounting perspective read on.  In this project you will be the lead/manager in charge of driving results.  You will work with various internal client subject matter experts/business owners to make making sure current state of their processes are defined.  Additionally you will work to ensure gaps between future state and current state are addressed and taken care of.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-project reporting [status, timelines, budget vs actual resourcing, etc]

-making sure project deliverables are being produced on time [documenting current state / future state /etc]

-preparation of project reporting to executive/steering committee

Job Requirements:
· Designated Accountant or equivalent experience [CPA, MBA, CMA, etc]
· Proven leadership experience on a multi-dimensional, multi-geographic project
· Honest professional direct communication skills.
