Job Description:
Toshiba Business Solutions is seeking for a candidate with exceptional customer service and love working with numbers for our Accounting Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the various account receivable and collections duties. This role is based out of the Markham Head Office and reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

Job Requirements:

  •     Minimum 1-2 years accounting experience in a fact paced environment.
  •     Business/Accounting diploma is an asset.
  •     Strong analytical, organizational, detail-oriented, interpersonal, communication and follow-up skills.
  •     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Can work effectively in a team environment or independently.
  •     Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Job Duties:
  •     Process invoices and follow up with overdue balance to collect payments.
  •     Preparation of bank deposits, account reconciliations, data entry of cash applications, and handling incoming collections phone calls.
  •     Ensure receivables are collected on a timely matter while maintaining good relationships.
  •     Other accounts receivable and collections duties as assigned.
  •     Hours of work are 9:30am – 5:30pm.
  •     Provide excellent customer service to all customers in a professional manner.
  •     Establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with both internal and external clients.
