Job Requirements:

  •     Bachelor degree in commerce or business administration
  •     Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  •     Ability to perform financial analysis
  •     Solid knowledge of account administration
  •     Excellent knowledge of computer systems and softwares, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  •     Ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines
  •     Problem Solving
  •     Good time management / Priority setting
  •     Adaptability/Creativity/Dependability
  •     Knowledge of BDC products and services, policies and procedures
  •     Bilingualism would be an asset

Job Description:
  •     Actively participate and assist the manager in the research and due diligence process (e.g. Equifax, Dunn & Bradstreet, organization and management charts, etc.) in accordance with the subordinate financing procedures and solution manuals.
  •      Prepare letters to the client/lawyer based on the specific process (e.g., offer, instruction, disbursement, amendment, etc.) and ensure that the information is accurate and complete and that requirements and signatures are obtained, and follow-up is performed.
  •      Prepare disbursements for all transactions while performing due diligence in an efficient manner and ensuring adherence to BDC policies, procedures and audit guidelines.
  •      Receive and verify due diligence package for completeness, follow-up on outstanding items based on the specific process (i.e. financial statement request, loan balance confirmation, amendment, etc.) ensuring that the forms/information are accurate and complete and that requirements and signatures are obtained.
  •      Record financial results and spread financial statements, identify gap/risk, review underlying & contingent conditions as required for annual review, propose and assist in risk rating assessment and/or ensure that information is recorded accurately in the system and forward the complete documentation.
  •     Actively participate and assist managers in the portfolio administration (e.g. amendment and amendment letters to client, risk ratings updates, annual review, prepayment calculation, arrears follow-up, routine account documentation, administration plan, etc.)
  •      Maintain an effective diary system for all files and produce accurate monthly reports.
  •      Update client, loan and authorization information in different systems as required, maintain an effective diary system for all files and produce accurate monthly reports.
  •      Provide excellent customer service by providing prompt, accurate and professional responses to clients, other BDC services and outsides resources in the resolution of basic customer issues, and escalate complex issues to senior team members.
  •      Provide administrative support to team members (maintenance of check lists and management tool, preparation and mailing of marketing material, etc.) and collaborate to special projects.
  •      Assist Managing Director in the preparation of the documentation for “Mark to Market” report.
