Position Summary
The primary functions of the role are to provide Total Reward consulting services to functional and business unit leaders for an assigned client group.

Job Requirements:
 Technical Expertise

  • · Deep knowledge and subject matter expertise in the areas of data analytics and financial modeling. Understands and manages complex data to enable decision making.
  • · Deep experience and knowledge of pay, reward and recognition principles and programs.
  • · Strong consulting skills. Deep skill set in understanding and interpreting business issues and requirements; building rapport, inquiry, listening and diagnosis, summarizing, seeking agreement, influencing and obtaining agreement and commitment.
  • · Strong project and change management skills.
  • · Understands the Firm's business in terms of structure, players, key performance measures and financial indicators; able to navigate the internal decision making/political process.
Personal Effectiveness
  • · Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation and decision facilitation.
  • · Ability to assert ideas and influence others, while maintaining positive relationships as it pertains to Total Rewards challenges and programs.

Education:
  • · A Degree in an HR-related field with 7 to 10 years in HR.
  • · 7 – 10 years, experience with at least 5 in an HR Consultancy /Management position.
  • · CHRP and/or CCP designation preferred.

Job Duties:
  • Lead and perform complex analysis and develop approaches for financial modeling to support rewards budgeting, program development and decision making.
  • · Manage the delivery of the annual base and variable pay program to functional /business unit leaders. Gather market intelligence, support the input and analyze competitive market survey data, make annual updates for the functional base pay program, and prepare budget recommendations for functional leaders.
  • · Facilitate decision making leveraging deep influencing skills and knowledge of competitive market and best practices in rewards and recognition.
  • · Support people leaders in delivering on their accountabilities relative to pay decisions and communication. Educate, provide decision tools and communication scripts in support of the pay conversations.
  • · Participate in designing Total Rewards programs, development of tools and support processes which enable the delivery and communication of competitive reward and recognition programs to KPMG people.
  • · Research reward and recognition best practices. Participate in external reward and recognition networks and conferences to remain current with external developments.
  • · Support People Leaders in understanding our Engagement strategy and how the Total Rewards programs support the strategy
  • · Partner with HR Consultants, the HR Service team and other Centres of excellence to ensure seamless delivery of Total Rewards programs and services to functional client groups and People Leaders.
  • · Support team learning through knowledge sharing and collaborative work behaviors.
At times, business needs arise and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.
