The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety is seeking a skilled, ethical, confident individual to provide comprehensive clerical support at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre in Prince Albert. Our candidate of choice will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a keen sense for detail. As administrative support, you will type correspondence and reports; record meeting minutes; photocopy and file documents. Accuracy and confidentiality in all that you do is a must in this position. Using exceptional client service skills, you will greet telephone callers, providing them with accurate information in a professional and respectful manner ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
In order to meet the challenges in this Ministry, you must also have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills with the ability to tactfully explain information in detail. As the successful candidate, you will have an Office Administration certificate or equivalent. You will have the ability to use a wide variety of computer applications, have knowledge and skills related to an office environment, administrative procedures and protocols, including the ability to interact with colleagues and challenging clients. Knowledge of MIDAS and CJIMS would be an asset.
