Job Summary:
Location: Agincourt
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.

Responsibilities:
- Generating and pitching interesting, original story ideas and angles fore CTV News Channel.
- Booking interviews with newsmakers, experts for breaking news, continuing coverage and features.
- Field producing taped segments and live remotes.
- Writing scripts and adding graphics and video to complement each interview
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Experience covering breaking news.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of political, domestic, international news and current affairs.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong chasing skills as essential for this position.
- Experience in producing live, live-to-tape and taped programming.
- Proficient in Word and Excel and iNews.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to originate coverage on developing stories including populist trends and features.
- Strength in use of video in story-telling.
