Six month contract

Job Description:
Alberta Blue Cross has an immediate opening for a talented, energetic, team-oriented, hard-working and competent individual to join our busy Corporate Communications department as a graphic design specialist for a one-year term to cover a maternity leave.

The Alberta Blue Cross Corporate Communications department develops and delivers timely, effective and cost-efficient internal and external communications to support our organization’s three business units, our employees and corporate initiatives including sponsorships and community engagement. Team members are quality-minded and responsive, are dedicated to providing timely service and hold themselves accountable for high levels of performance. Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a reporting analyst role. An Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in systems and/or data analysis.
• Experience with self-service reporting tools or Microsoft Access will be considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills as well as attention to detail are required
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively at all levels in the organization
• Demonstrated ability to contribute within a team environment

Job Duties:
• Interpret the data collected and analyze indentifying key indicators, areas of concern and future trends
• Work with teams to compile accurate data for reporting to management.
• Present the information visually (for example: graphing) in a user friendly, easy to understand manner and still capture key pieces of information.
