Job Description:
Our client, a major Canadian financial institution has an immediate need for a business process analyst for a 3-month contract. The project has arisen due to a mandate to change and amalgamate technologies as well as front- and back-office processes to achieve efficiencies. If you are a process analyst with experience documenting manual processes as well as system interfaces, who is adept at working with people and gaining consensus, then this may be the next exciting challenge in your career.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience with business process mapping
- Sound knowledge (expert level) of Microsoft Visio
- Undergrad in Engineering and/or understanding of banking and transactional information
Job Duties among others:
- Producing/validating current state process diagrams, either from existing documentation or via job shadowing.
- Participate/present findings in design workshops consisting of technology and business representatives (8-10 people), creating/editing Visio diagrams in real time
- Taking direction from a process lead to gather process requirements for future state processes
