Metal Fabrication Labourers Needed at Prairie Steel Products

Job Title:    Metal Fabrication Labourers
Job Location:    Saskatoon, SK, Canada
Employer:    Prairie Steel Products

About Us
Prairie Steel Products was started in November 1976 by Lawrence Goebel and three partners. Within 2 years Lawrence was the sole owner of the business, Prairie Steel started out manufacturing culverts and well cribbing. It wasn’t long before grain bins, fertilizer bins as well as hopper bottom bins were part of the business. In the early 1980′s two profiles of steel sheeting were added to the manufacturing line and later an all steel farm building was introduced.
Lawrence located a piece of promising property at Clavet, SK and built a 5,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Both Lyle and Kelly started working with their father at a young age. When they completed mechanical engineering at SIAST they joined their father to work full time in the business.
In 1982 another 11 acres of land next to the original property was purchased and 2 years later added a 16,000 square foot building. During their peak season Prairie Steel employs 50 to 60 people. The latest products they have added to their line is a third profile of steel sheeting and standing seemed roofing. Currently Prairie Steel has over 66,000 square feet of manufacturing area which includes an additional 21,000 square feet just added.
