Job Description:
Our Provincial Government client is looking for a LEARNING CONSULTANT TRAINER to join their organization.  This is a full-time contract for approximately 3 months with possibility for extension.

In this Design and Deliver role you would be responsible to deliver training to individuals in accounting and finance.  Courses will include material designed for audiences that have minimal finance and accounting experience as well as those with many years of experience.  Soft skills training in the areas of managing and coaching will also be required.

Job Requirements:

•     Knowledge and understanding of the Ontario Public Service financial management framework
•     Knowledge of accounting and finance including University Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
•     Experience delivering adult education programs, including learning needs assessment, program design, development strategies and methods
•     Inter-personal and negotiation skills, to bring together and lead a team of professionals and senior staff
•     Understanding of current web-based tools in order to design efficient methods of sharing information

Job Responsibilities:

•     Define learning requirements for the Ontario Public Sector Financial and Non-Financial communities.
•     Build comprehensive learning curriculum and corresponding tools.
•     Identify competency gaps, evaluates existing financial management training programs.
•     Defines learning objectives specific to the different audiences, evaluate and modify existing internal or external learning.
•     Develops a comprehensive learning curriculum and corresponding multi-media learning tools (classroom, on-line e-learning, videos)
•     Responsible for all learning related content on the Provincial Controller intranet site.
•     Develops workshops, seminars, forums and conferences related to controllership and financial management

This position starts immediately and offers an hourly rate of $30 to $35.
